For those of you looking for a fun, memorable experience with someone who values you and your song, choose Diamond Recordings. Dave and I worked on my song, Anticipation and it was fun. I was able to show him my reference track on my guitar, he played a few different guitars to see which sound was best. It was an amazing experience. He was excellent at programming sound effects into his system. Playing drums was great too, recording vocals was surprisingly a really fast process because I had been playing the song live all over Cairns and uploading various versions onto my You Tube channel.
Advice - the more prepared you are with knowing your song, the feel of your song and staying true to the sound of your song, the more authentic it will sound. #DIAMONDRECORDINGS

Really loved working with Dave, he has been in the industry not only as a Professional Sound Engineer but also as a Professional Musician for many years and has proven himself in both sides of the Industry. He knows how to get the best sound from numerous Instruments and Vocals as well as Mixing and Mastering. I will be recording again with Dave when the time arises. Working with "Diamond Dave" is always a pleasure,
this is my 3 rd CD project .
He is an accomplished guitarist, vocalist, bass player and drummer himself and has great knowledge of the instruments and effects, he knows by experience how to get the best sound out of your instrument. He always aims for an authentic sound and will adopt flexible approaches to suit your skill level. So he gets it. Dave is very patient and encouraging but will push you to beyond your best ability. His studio is located in a calming rural location, which helps to focus your energy. Now, with the Diamond Recordings label, he can take a project to the next level with videos, and marketing. He is not just a music producer / engineer, he is a friend. He will definitely go the extra mile, when I was in lying in hospital he brought in headphones so I could listen to the latest mix it meant the world to me.

Diamond Recordings studios. “Diamond Dave” Is an extremely talented musician and an even more talented Producer if that’s at all possible. The man is a pure genius and knows how to bring out the best in you.
Diamond recordings FNQ is completely away from everything on a property near Mareeba. The ideal place to get away from it all and get creative and to "Stay Safe"
